TV tuner for projector? (1 Viewer)

Well I had this question which I happened to ask on the

The basic rundown is I decided to go with an S-Video vcr costing me around $250 CDN. I'm happy with it considering my current tv source is rabbit ears.

Generally, any VCR will be a suitable tuner for a monitor or projector that does not have a tuner but does have a TV video in jack.
The biggest advantage of an S-VHS VCR over an ordinary VCR is if the VCR has a better comb filter and the monitor must have an S-video jack.
