Turning off Subtitle Icon for Philips player (1 Viewer)

I have a Philips DVD player, perhaps model 925, but I'm not sure on the model.

Everytime I have a 2nd angle from which to choose, I get a big, distracting icon up on the screen notifying me of it. When I'm watching a movie without commentary, or alternate angles, I don't want to see the icon.

Is there someplace I can turn this off? I've gone into the setup on the player, and can't find anyplace. I simply have to hit "display" everytime it comes up to make it go away.

John, I don't own a Philips player but I have read this as a frequent complaint about them. Apparently there is no way to turn the angle icon off through the normal setup menus. Sorry but I guess you are stuck with it. Hopefully Philips will add the option to turn this off on their newer line of players.
