Since it's Halloween time, I'd like to see people's top ten horror films that are not yet out on DVD. Here's mine (but I'm cheating!). I'm not including stuff I think will come out.
1. All the rest of the Christopher Lee/Hammer Dracula films (HORROR OF DRACULA, DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, DRACULA A.D. 1972) (Warner)
2. THE HILLS HAVE EYES (?)
3. THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS (Warner)
4. HOUSE and NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS (Warner)
5. FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL (Paramount)
6. FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET (Paramount)
7. FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED (Warner)
8. LEMORA, THE LADY DRACULA (?)
9. TALES FROM THE CRYPT (1972) (Fox?)
10. THE DEVILS (Warner)

1. Horror of Dracula (1958)
2. Brides of Dracula (1960)
3. Curse of Frankenstein (1957)
4. Island of Lost Souls (1933)
5. Thing From Another World (1951)
6. THEM! (1954)
7. Revenge of Frankenstein (1958)
8. Black Cat (1934)
9. Haunting (1963)
10. Near Dark (1987)
If you count King Kong (1933) as horror then it would be tied for #1.

I could die happy with Peter's list - well done! You forgot one in your runner-up section, however.

Jeff Amaris,
Duly noted. I altered my post to add that, and to accomodate both FREAKS (somehow slipped my mind, until Mitty's post, even though I'd long planned to watch my old LD of FREAKS this Monday night!) and DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE (1932 version, another glaring example of absent-mindedness) into my pre-1950 Top 10.

Chopping Mall is coming to DVD soon, I'm pretty sure. Can't remember where I read it. Maybe here somewhere.
