What a great film - from the plot, to the acting, the score, and the look of the period sets and costumes. Saw it back in the theater when it was first released when I was a little kid. Plot went over my head at the time but its been one of my favorites through the years. Owned it in almost every format available. Can’t wait to watch it on UHD. Hope Universal does a good job.

The problem is, there is no press release. We don't have artwork of the back cover (though I'll go to the Universal press site and check) and there isn't a copy out in the wild to compare.

It could very well be one of those cases where we will have to wait on reviews for this release to find out.

I have the artwork from their press site but that and the accompanying spec notes don't reveal much of anything.

That being said there is an included featurette on "restoring the classics" so that could be an indication that there was some restoration done on this title.
