Most people should be very pleased with the dvd transfer. Warner has done another fine job with this latest classic release. The only extras the dvd has are subtitles, theatrical trailer, and a production listing. For less than $12.00, I'm happy with this purchase.

Thanks, Robert. While TRBoC, because of its interesting history, is a film more deserving of extras than most, I am delighted that Warner has apparently done a fine job with the transfer. A definite purchase for me. [IMG]

What I always liked about this film is the script by John Huston as taken from the Crane novel. This period film had actors actually talking like people did back then instead of other period films in which actors are using more contemporary figures of speech.
