This was a toughy. Almost no high quality elements out there to work from. After two weeks of trial and trial, managed to come up with something I was happy to print out. Specs are for the Australian disc, which has a surprisingly nice looking transfer, but only lossy DD 2.0 audio. Also note, this is the 116 minute cut of the film. IMDb says original running time is 131 minutes. Still better than the Blu-ray version available in the US.

I purchased the Germany release of The Lighthorsemen on Blu-ray sometime ago and it also has a running time of 116 minutes. The longer version of 131 minutes is only available on DVD. The video and audio on the German Blu-ray are excellent with the audio in DTS-HD Master 5.1.
