The Criterion dvd is available online for about ~$30 or so but there is also what looks like a bare bones DVD available on ebay for under $10. Is this an import or Goodtimes release (p&s?) Does it have the anamorphic transfer? Any info appreciated. TIA!

The OOP Goodtimes release should be easy to spot because it's a double feature, alongside "The Land That Time Forgot". The cover art is...

Digital Eyes and CD Universe both list this disc as being full-frame.

Stick with the Criterion, it's anamorphic with all kinds of goodies and a beautiful print to boot, the best you'll find!

It's at DVDPlanet.com for $25.99...such a deal! :D :D

I love the Criterion Disc and definitely suggest you get that as it's the only Blob disc I have seen that is anamorphic. There may be one out there but I do not know of it.

Get the Criterion - anything else just isn't worth bothering with. A spectacularly good transfer, and some really great commentaries and other goodies.
