I had an inguinal hernia years ago. Not much to getting it taken care of, really - it was outpatient surgery so I was pretty much in and out of the hospital. I was a bit sore for a couple of days afterwards, but it was nothing serious. Good luck!
Given that the surgery is relatively minor in terms of most surgeries, my advice would be that unless it is moderately bothering you, I wouldn't have the surgery. Why take the risks if nothing is bothering you with regard to the hernia?
What EXACTLY is a hernia? i read up on the net when that other hernia thread popped up, but i still dont get it. Is it when like sections of your intestine pops up through your abs? Thats as clear as I saw it...
