Superex Gem-7 ~{2-channel 4-band parametric EQ}~

This is the piece im most interested in!

I am looking for simple information dealing with how good the build & sound quaility of this brands gear is during the late 70's and 80's?

Whayne P. the EQ guru or others, do you have any input on this brand????

Edit: I do not know the year this piece was produced at this time, but assume it is circa 80's as it's front face is brushed Silver alum, rack mountable, along with soild alum rack handels.

Hope you might shed some light on this brands gear. Probley studio gear but at ths point the unit is not in hand and can tell you nothing but whats posted above till I receive it.....
