I know there are certain brands of CDRs that work in our player for CD playback purposes cuz a friend of mine had one that worked. THe Imations I'm using don't work. Do Sony CDRs work in the player?

Phil, I have read that silver CD-Rs work on older Sony DVD players that are not supposed to support CD-R playback. Have you tried any silver CD-Rs?
