It states it is DCDi but seems way to cheap from various sources.

The DV-S2U is my most used of the 4 players I have at the moment, its reliable and the deinterlacing is terriffic! No chroma bug at all but it does have the flicker bug and a subtitle bug where the subtitles pop on intermittenly , usually once every 3 or 4 movies.

The S2U is as good as a Panasonic RP-56 and 62 and a hair's breath away from an RP-82 , so close that most people could not tell the difference.
