by running widescreen demos on their big screen RPTV's. This is the 3rd time I've been in there over the last 2 months. The TV's on display with this widescreen demo playing were an Akai 4:3 and a Panasonic 47" 16x9 "HDTV".
Panasonic was only $1600 which probably means it's last years model and probably not really HDTV (only ready) but the picture was stunning.
I tried to find a sales drone to commend them on running the appropriate demo (like they'd care) but found no one.
We all like to trash Wal-Mart because usually they deserve it. But this time, we should at least recognize this particular incident at Sam's as being a positive move.
