Can anyone tell me if there is one s video cable better than another and how much of a difference do you really see between the different companys thanks for any advice.

Mike when I switched over from a decent but cheap RCA branded s-video cable to my current thick AR cable there was enough of a difference that I had to recalibrate my TV with Avia. Although there's often heated debates in differences in audio cables most people seem to agree that there are quite visable differences b.t low end video cables and better quality ones.

Your best best would be to buy a higher priced cable from a known good company. The cheap ones are well - for lack of a better word - cheap!
