Is it a good idea to buy the rotel power amp and use it to drive my fronts?My reciever(STR-DB1070)just doesn't have the juice to push my fronts.Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

What speakers/impedence are you running? My experience with sonys has been that their power source is weak and cant handle anything other than 8ohms. I had an STR-V555ES and had 4ohm B&W for mains. Sounded terrible. Added Carver AV505 to power all channels and it sounded much better. So I chucked it and got an onkyo 989. I should have just leaped to separates (even though the onkyo is a great receiver) but at the time, their werent and that did DTS-ES and DPLII.
