First, the sub out on the back of my Denon 1803 is loose, with the result that the sub does not work except when hold the cable in a certain position. Anyone have any experience fixing this, or is it a 'technician' reapir? I don't want to open the box if I can't do it anyway, since it might void the warranty. Any help would be, well, helpful. thx!

Seccond, I have a AR Master series silver directional Y connector for the subwoofer cable. It is the self-tightening type, however, both screw mechanisms were off the Y cable itself and there does not seem to be any way to know which was the red, and which was the white. Any thoughts? Thx again

Peter,

If it’s under warranty, then take it in for service. That’s what warranties are for! :)

Regarding the y-cable, the same signal goes to both sides. It doesn’t matter which is red or white.
