QUEIMADA (BURN) is now available from Amazon.de (Germany) on BluRay in a new HD scan of the full length version of 129 minutes. The audio is in Italian and German with German and English subtitles. The Region-Code is "B". The BluRay exhibits excellent color, depth a great improvement over the awful full screen DVD.

The story is about Sir William Walker (Marlon Brando) who instigated a slave revolt on the Caribbean island of Queimada in order to help improve the British sugar trade.

Watched Queimada ( Burn!) on Blu Ray last. Image was fantastic...English subtitles. As an extra there is the 112 minute English language version..
The uncut version, evne tough Brando is dubbed in Italian, is the version to watch.

The uncut Queimada is the only version I've ever seen, ever since I watched it when it opened in Puerto Rico. Fabulous film. The German BD is excellent.
