I always keep a pnuematic hand-pumped HT as a back-up.

Guys I heard that MONSTER has been monitoring this thread and is currently working on a EMP protection power strip to alleviate such worries. MSPR somewhere around 20-30,000 look for it in the mega marts in the not so distant future!!
