Rich, the Loudness curve, according to Pioneer's specs, should be centered around 100Hz for bass and 10Khz for treble frequencies. It also states that at these frequencies, the boost is +9db.

Thanks for clarifying that DRC is only done with DD soundtracks. And I agree, flexibility is good in life.
