So I am looking to buy myself a new receiver. I have decided to get either the Pioneer VSX-1022-K or the Pioneer VSX-1122-K.
For the life of me I can not see anything that can tell me the difference between the VSX-1122-K's iControlAV2012 app and the VSX-1022-K's control app.
Help! I want to get a new receiver ASAP, but do not want buyers remorse. Life without sound SUCKS!
Thanks for the help.

Icontrol is an exterior "control" system you buy to control your system.
Just like Control4 or Crestron.

What you get with the 1122, that the 1022 does not have...
Wifi.
AV Navigator (this let's you control the AVR via your home network with a Ipad/PC, here is Pio's link to read up on it http://pioneer.jp/product/soft/iapp_avnavi/en.html )
SiriusXM
iControl support.

By the way...
Think of AV Navigator as "control app on steroids".
Basically(based on Amazon pricing)...if you have an Ipad, for $114, the 1122 becomes idiot proof. Even grandma, when she comes to visit, can use it. If you have a 4 year old in the house...they'll be using the AVR from their bedroom in 10 minutes.
