Hello again all. I trust that you all survived Black Friday and are ready to drop a bit more cash on your Gaming hobby platform of choice?
Again, since we are late into the year, we're not seeing a lot of AAA releases, but we do have a few good games to be found.
Here we go.
GLEN'S HTF GAME OF THE WEEK

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & The Four Swords
It's Zelda. I just have a hard time choosing against it. :)
Games due to be released during between December 1st and ending December 7th. (Pricing and release dates from Ebgames.com)
Pro Race Driver (PS2) - $49.99
NCAA College Basketball 2K3 (PS2) - $49.99
Dragon Ball Z Budokai (PS2) - $49.99
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (PS2) - $49.99

Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles (PC) - $29.99
I've decided to try to go with things differently this week. I'm going to do my post similarly to the Black Friday post and just list each store, the games they're selling and the price at which they have it. Then I'll seperate the titles by company/platform. (Nintendo will encompass all GBA and GC games, Sony will encompass PS2 and PSX titles, etc) Formatting the Excel Spreadsheet each week for 40 or 50 titles gets more than a bit time consuming. Let me know if you prefer it the old way, or this way. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. I picked up Metroid Prime at CompUSA, and, no, there was not anything special you had to do to get the $44.99.

The new format is perfectly fine and allows you to quickly glance at what a particular store has available if you need to do a little shopping.

Thanks again,
Ian

Format is MUCH improved! Well done. One suggestion though? Change "Microsoft" to "XBox." Since MS is the PC game business, too, this might make things clearer for everybody.

Sorry, Glen. I don't like the new format. I MUST get Zelda for the little lady, and hated having to scan through every store's paragraph to find whether Zelda was listed, and how much. By the time I got to the bottom, I had to re-scan the list to recall who had it cheapest. I'd rather that the titles had all the store prices together somehow.

That's why I like the grid format. "Store" shoppers can go down the columns. "Title" shoppers can go across the rows.

I'm not into Madden or football that much, but NBA Street for $14.99!? I might have to get to Circuit City for that one.
BTW, I love the format :emoji_thumbsup: , but I think it would be nice if GC and GBA games were split into different groups.

The more I use the new format, the more I like it. I can quickly find releases by machine. Anybody who knows video games knows machine type is a heckuva lot more critical than store/price when you're sorting through this many titles (and picking a store/price is idiot simple the way you've got it formatted now).

Beautiful redo--and if it saves you time, more the better! Keep up the great work!

It looks like I'll go with the new format. One thing I'm kicking around is to try to list the best prices for the key titles for the week at the end of the list. So issues like Dave had wouldn't be too big of a deal.

One other note. I'll be having shoulder surgery on Thursday, and hope to get next weeks in, although typing will be a much bigger struggle from what I hear. I'll keep you all appraised.

Thanks.

Well, in running out to CC to pick up The Producers on DVD, I looked through their Gameboy Advance section and found...

Tactics Ogre for $29.99

Looks to be their normal price.

This has been a tough one to find, in my opinion... so if you're looking for it. There is a good place to start.

First off, thanks so much for the hard work you put into this Wrapup! I was wondering if anyone has any GBA specials going on at this time?

I think that most places are running standard deals at this point. $69.99 for the GBA. I know that TRU has their "exclusive" black model, and Target has their "exclusive" red model.

I believe that's it for the moment.

I'll be back tomorrow with more postings.

Thanks,

Glen
