I like that TMBG idea, Im gonna try that myself. We end up listening to alot of Disney soundtracks and alot of Broadway soundtracks when we go on trips with the kids.

It's recent hit pop songs but sung by a group of kids rather than the original artists.

My 3 year-old son and 9 year old daughter really like the cds.

It's at least tolerabale for my wife and I and much better than listening to Barney non-stop.

A friend brought me some Disney Classics CDs. I played "Under the Sea" and "Hakuna Matada" for her which she seemed to like and then I played "The Bear Necessities" she hollered "SHREK! I want SHREK!" I can't win....

My 3 1/2 year old loves Kenny Loggins "Return to Pooh Corner" and "More songs from Pooh Corner"

Also loves Elvis and The Beach Boys

I hate to tell you this... but you lost the battle by not giving in for 18 months. It's going to be VERY hard to undo now. Stick with it for a while. Don't give in. You're the parent, not her, right?

When my kids were 3, this was our daily musical routine. Quite nice in an "easy listenin" kind of way.
Since then, weve bought a few of these to place in "new baby" gift baskets.
