In another thread about the TNG releases, Martin already stated:

Let me get Star Trek: TMP announced first (in the next week or 10 days)...

That was Aug 3.
I personally give him 'til Aug 17 - that's 10 working days.
If it's not announced by then, I'll theaten to sulk in the corner for a few minutes .
Unless someone states otherwise, I don't hold what happens in R2 as an indication of what happens in R1 - they're two different arms of Paramount.
