Opininos on the Yamaha HTR 5990 (1 Viewer)

I am looking for a reciever to power a 7.1 home theater. I just returned my Pioneer VSX-1015-tx cause it was lacking. I am looking at the Yamaha for now, any opinions on this or any other reciever? I would like plenty of power to drive my Polk RTi8's, RTi4's, FXi3's, CSi5. Im running a PSW505 sub also. I would like all up to date ins and outs, like HDMI. Opinions?

I have the 5790 which lacks any HDMI. Overall I can't say there's anything I don't like about mine.

I had a pioneer years ago and was never impressed with it. Still try to go out and give a listen to some others.
Take a look at Onkyo, Denon, HK.

If your budget allows the Outlaw Audio 1070 (900$) is a great receiver too.
