opening the TV (1 Viewer)

I have noticed that one of those lady bug type bugs somehow go inside my projection TV and it is driving me crazy since i see its shadow everytime i watch tv. I have been waiting for it to die for weeks now and it hasent. i was wondering if there was a safe way to open my TV and get him out? I have a Panasonic PT-61HX40 if that helps. Thanks a ton!

How did it get in there? Maybe if you put ladybug food outside the TV, she will want to come out? I usually don't recommend people open up their TV's unless they know a bit about TV's. The tube can give you a pretty decent shock even with the TV unplugged. Also, opening may void a warranty. You may be able to open up the back panel just a crack through, without totally opening up the TV.

Maybe you could convince your dealer that this should be covered under warranty? tell them you are gettign a shadow across your screen, then they can open it and remove the bug.
