Onkyo TX NR 801...any thoughts (1 Viewer)

Hi I am looking at buying the TX NR 801. Has anyone reviewed this product. Also looking at the Harmon Kardon 7200. Also a question on DTS....I have a Sony STR DE 425 can this amp be upgraded to DTS if so is it worth it.

If you thinking between Onkyo and HK, i can tell you go for HK 7200. I listened lower models of HK with JBL speakers and they rock definetly.

apologies for the late reply...we ar 8 hours ahead of you guys....the only problem with this model is that is ways 53 pounds and the TX 35.....I will be shipping it to south africa...they charge per pound and volume of box...do u know of any cheaper means of shipping it here.......also the HK does not have ether net capabilities
