Saw this last night and had to settle for enjoying the locations, mostly Harvard I think.
This thread isn't getting ANY traffic so I'll probably end up asking my question over in MUSIC.
The film is set in the Fall of 1953. What are the chances of someone using the phrase, ...radios and hi-fi's..."?

I would have thought the common usage of "hi-fi" came along later in the 50's.

I believe the movie is set in Wellesley College, which was actually used in this film. I don't know if Harvard was also used for setting.

I saw this film with a Wellesley alumnus. We were both greatly disappointed with this film.

The highlight for me was Tori Amos (onscreen) singing, "You Belong To Me"
