The movie was ok, not the kind of stuff I'd buy on DVD, but enjoying for what it is.

One of the thing that really stood out was that:

The WTC was in it in several NYC scenes, so that means it was shot at least a year ago! It's good to see some filmmakers understanding that the WTC does not need to be removed from every movie that was shot before 9/11, leaving it only shows that the movie takes place before 9/11.

"Some" filmmakers? You can count on one hand the number of confirmed instances of the towers being removed. The vast majority of films shot before 9/11 have left them in. City by the Sea is just another example of how overblown the internet hysteria on this topic really was.
