Japanese all-star tribute featuring the vocal talents of Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), Tommy Shaw (Styx, Damn Yankees), Gunnar & Matthew Nelson (Nelson), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Kip Winger (Winger), Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath), Jason Scheff (Chicago), Mickey Thomas (Jefferson Airplane, Starship) & Jack Blades (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees). Guitarists include, Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Reb Beach (Dokken, Winger), Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Steve Lukather (Toto), Richie Kotzen (Poison
Songs being covered include; "I'm In Love With My Car", "Killer Queen" and more.
There is some confusion over the album's title. It's either "Stone Cold Crazy" or "Stone Cold Queen". Most web sites refer to the "SCQ" title whereas on-line retailers have it under "SCC".

Thanks for the heads-up, Michael. What a talented group of musicians - this looks awesome! I am looking for it immediately.

For those of you who have may have never heard of Glenn Hughes. He is not only a good bassist, he is a great vocalist.

This should be really interesting. I can't wait though. :)

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I was not aware of a US release. I've only seen the Japanese import for sale on the internet (amazon.com)
Even checked out Shrapnel's web site and couldn't find any mention of the album on there so I e-mailed them about it.
I'd rather it be a US release as I *really* don't wanna pay $34 for it.

CDNow has it up for pre-order. Do an artist search on 'Stone Cold Queen'. You'll see it.
Anyone ever heard the Guns N Roses tribute CD, the first one entitled "Appetite for Reconstruction"? Easily the worst CD I've ever owned.
