New Marantz pre-amp? (1 Viewer)

I visited the local Marantz dealer today to look at the MM9000 5-channel amp and was shooting the breeze with the sales guy, who was pretty cool--computer engineering major, knew tons about audio and electronics in general, currently has a project to modify a Marantz AV500 pre-amp to use a tube unity gain output. Anyway, he said that Marantz was coming out with a new pre-amp soon that would basically have the features of the 9200 receiver without the amps of course. After I got home I wasn't sure if he said that he knew for sure or if he was speculating. Seemed reasonable to me at the time since Marantz' most current AV pre-amp is getting long in the tooth.

Does anybody know any specific details about this pre-amp, maybe some links to specs or previews and such?

I have heard rumors of an "AV9200" but no info.

I'd be real curious, because the old AV9000 reviewed very highly on audioreview.com. (Compared to Sony, Rotel, Parasound, Acurus, etc.)
