2) They rarely use original poster art as they have some of the best graphic designers in-house to do their own covers. One of the appeals of Criterion releases are the covers they design to compliment the film.
Only a portion of the cover - the photo of Weller with a typewriter for a head - is from the original poster. The rest is a new creation of Criterion's.

Jon - I don't see the artwork anywhere on Criterion's site.

Damin - Wow. I never noticed those titles didn't follow "my rule". It just seemed to me they always did, but you are right.

All previous releases of the film have been 1.85:1, which is apparently what this new Criterion version is as well.
