I use the Neo 6 music mode that's on my Rotel 1068 processor. I only have 5 speaker plus the sub. I don't have a rear speaker. I was wondering what I'm missing out on in terms of music information playing in Neo 6 mode with 5.1 system. Can anyone that knows how Neo 6 works, let me know if it's ok to use on a 5.1 system.

As far as I know, if you don't have a center-rear the info that would have gone to it goes to the rear l & r. Just make sure you go into the receivers setup menu and turn off the the surround back channels. Neo:6 creates a separate unique channel for the rear center just as it does for the surrounds. Dolby Pro Logic EX, while creating unique channels for the surrounds, removes info from those surrounds to matrix a rear center channel. In theory, Neo:6 should be better.
