Need help with my Daewoo 5700 (1 Viewer)

I just got my daewoo 5700 hooked up, and when the power comes on, the dvd logo appears, but the tray does not open or make any sound. I can access the setup menu, but when I hit the open/close button it either does nothing, or says "loading". Is it DOA? any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

You may be able to resurrect it, although it may require knowledge of the black arts. If you just got it, I would return it ASAP and save yourself from future headaches.

Unfortunately, I cannot return it, i bought it off of ebay. I only paid 25 bucks, so I am willing to rish the "black arts" if anyone has any advice. Thanks
