My ma is a 3rd grade teacher. She has a mysterious set of cutout letters for a bulletin board...and she does not know what they "unscramble" into. Nobody in my family has been able to figure out what they stand for...and we've been trying for the past many years..

The letters:

ACDDEIKNPRRSSUW

A few things:

1) She "thinks" it came from her November box.
2) The letters are red.
3) The W is a W - not a M.
4) She's fairly confident no letters have been lost.
5) I do not know what the unscrambled words are.
6) I do not know how many words the letters comprise.

So, who's smart?

I think that I'm smart enough to ask you why you didn't post them in alphabetical order. Or is that a major clue?

They weren't posted in alphabetical order because.....I didn't take the time, and I didn't think it would help at all. I'll do that right now, though.. :)

"SUPER KIDS RC WAND"

Maybe they're pushing their new line of magic wand universal remotes...

Maybe not.

Well, since they are red, and i am soooooo close to spelling "cupids arrows" with a D changed to an O and 3 leftovers, that's my final answer.

Lary, your list isn't complete. I can tell because it doesn't include the most obvious solution. It seems pretty clear to me that the letters form an ad for a Chinese carnival: "PRAWNS! DUCK! RIDES!"

Well, here's your list of possibilities. Good luck!
"A DICK DR NEWS SPUR"
"SPREAD SUCK DR WIN"
"RAPED SUCK DR WINS"

Pretty graphic for a third grade class :)

I think it's impossible to guess. With 13! possible combinations, it'll be difficult to guess unless there's more information provided.

This is one "A" short of "Super Kids Can Draw". Seems appropriate for 3rd grade class.

DARN KIDS SCREWS UP
KIDS DRAW PC NURSE
KID DRAWN PC USERS
KIDS PRAWN CURSED
RE KIDS PAWN CRUD

My name (Larry John Davenport) came up with so many possibilities I have a headache. The best ones (so far):
