Movielens is a movie ranking system where you put in your ratings for films and it tells you what it thinks you will like. It's one of those things that are ludicrously addictive once you get going. but it's also a lot of fun. Sort of an extension of other things like a netflix queue or an imdb ranking.

I don't really use the predictive aspects of Movielens, but it's where the "Movie Rankings" in my signature goes to, though it certainly would be nice to have some more control over how they were displayed and how many per page.

Not impressed. Every computer and browser I have used it says it is not compatible with the site.
Great way to bring people into a new site.

That's weird...while I certainly have my issues with Movielens, I've never had any compatibility problems. In the past, it's worked on Windows XP, OS 10.4, & Solaris using many different browsers (Firefox, IE, Safari, Mozilla).
