Watch that double dip! No kudos to Columbia, for releasing the first DVD without revealing this info. According to director Patty Jenkins in a DVDFile interview:

I picked this up forgetting it was a Columbia title, shame on me I should have known better. As for Columbia they should be ashamed of themselves, every single title gets two editions these days. What a bunch of gits.

Damn, I should have known better!

I can't even find the words to describe the contempt I feel for this studio. But I guess the solution is simple: I won't be buying a single Columbia title of a current movie on its initial release, unless it's either a 2 disc set or a Special Edition.
