Cable and accessories virtual superstore Monoprice has announced that its Monolith by Monoprice 16-inch Powered Subwoofer – teased last August – is available now for $2,299.  Branded THX Ultra Certified status means the subs must perform at reference levels in rooms up to 3,000 cubic feet. Monoprice also made available a 13-inch model in the summer, retailing for $1,599 direct from monoprice.com.
