Finally received my new motherboard and RAM from newegg, before I take apart my old PC again, I'm going to verify that the motherboard is alive by putting the bare minimum on the new case and powering up. I don't need a video card to go into the BIOS right???
I'd be able to hear the BIOS beep before it attempts to boot up. I'm planning on just putting in the CPU and the RAM and the PC Speaker (I hope the speaker works, now that would be a real pisser if it was bad) and turning the thing on and seeing what happens. If that is OK, then I'll get the video card and the rest...
