Just wanted to thank MGM for its midnite movie series. Many are widescreen, enhanced...and at a very reasonable priced. Some contain an extra or two...such as a commentary and trailer. If the series contiues...might a real 3-D movie (if you have one)...i know...it must be of the red/blue glasses type....be released....? Pehaps you might include the b/w version on the same disc?...anyway..again, thanks!!

Slingshot now has some 3-D IMAX films on DVD that use the field-sequential 3-D format; I'd like to see more companies put out discs that use this. I don't know what 3-D movies MGM has the rights to though (possibly "Treasure of the Four Crowns".)

I agree completely; MGM's excellent, bargain-priced "Midnite Movies" DVD series was one of the true highlights of 2001. I'm looking forward to many of the titles in the series that will be released in 2002. The other major studios, particularly Warner and Columbia Tristar, should emulate this line of DVDs, in both content and pricing.

I would like to express my gratitude to MGM for releasing the ultimate rubber monster movie: At the Earth's Core. One of my favourite films from my childhood. :)

I just hope that when Warner gets around to doing House of Wax, that we would see both versions....flat and 3-D.

This is truly a classic deserving full treatment.

I would also like to see Warner release Poltergeist 2: The Other Side as part of the Midnight Movie collection. A full actual release, I don't feel would sell well. But wisescreen with the typical features of the Midnight series...would be a surefire hit. (I don't care what they do with the third on in the series...it never should have happened to begin with in light of the problems and strange happening in relation to it.)

The 'midnite movie' thing was merely an assumption started by a dvd web site and it spread quickly. It's not true.
I've gotten e-mails from MGM (months ago) stating it WON'T be a 'midnite movie'.
