Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer (1 Viewer)

Anyone else have this mouse? (it's the optical cordless version)

In the last 2 months it's developed the habit of occasionally freezing. Right in the middle of moving a cursor accross the screen the mouse will "freeze" (the LED will turn off) for a split second causing a disruption in the on-screen movement. It usually requires me to shake the mouse in the air to see the LED turn back on.

As far as I can tell, this only occurs within Windows XP because I've NEVER noticed it while gaming.

Anyone experience similar issues with wireless mice?

what version of the software/driver/control panel thing-a-ma-jig are you using? i think it's up to 4.1
