It looks like ClassicFlix has cancelled the 4K/UHD release. They only have preorders for the DVD and Blu-ray on their own site. I wonder what happened?

Not from me either. Actually I'm not a big fan of the movie or Capra in general but anything with Stanwyck is a must buy for me and it should look better than the public domain versions out there on DVD.

Yup, if the sales aren't there then it doesn't make any business sense to release it on 4K/UHD due to that format costing so much more than a Blu-ray release.

I still feel fortunate that the BD of Meet John Doe is being made available, and am thrilled to see that ClassicFlix will remain in place as the guys to bring this finer edition forth. They do great work.
