What is a good quality yet affordable brand of Macro Lens for a camera?
Sigma or Tamron.
Matthew, What camera are you refering to? Jeff's suggestion probably assumes you're using a digital SLR (DSLR). Even if you're talking about a DSLR, there might be other cheaper, workable alternatives than dedicated macro lens. I don't shoot macros, but I have seen suggestions for macro filters like Canon 250D or Nikon 6T to use on top of telephoto lenses. There are also suggestions for lens extension tubes also. If you're talking about a compact digicam, you're probably looking at macro filters to extend whatever existing macro capabilities of your digicam. Depending on the exact digicam, you might also try the Canon 250D or Nikon 6T or something smaller, maybe from Hoya for something cheaper. _Man_
