I just got last week into a new Elite 49TXi and I love the sound. Seting it up and using the MCACC was really helpfull and easy .
My concern now is about my speakers which are a 4 Ohm M&K 150 THX series and the AVR manual look for 6-8 Ohm speakers. Will I get into any trouble running my 49TXi with this low Ohm speakers? My room is a 18'x18'x9'

You are ok as long as you have good ventilation for the 49TX
I have the same setup and I spoke to Pioneer tech support before getting my M&K's and he said 4ohms would be no problem.
However if you have the SS150THX tripole surrounds they can be configured to go to 2ohms, DO NOT DO THAT! You will need a separate amp that can handle a 2 ohm load to do that.
BTW How do you like the M&K's? I think they are the best damn speakers going in my opinion!:D
