I have a LG Blue Ray player surround system model number LHB335. I was woundering could i hook up some sort of amp to the sub to get more bass. Was thinking something like a car amp hidden. I would like more bass, when i turn up the bass lvl it takes the loudness out of the highs which indicates not enough amps. What can i do?

Pretty sure anything you do will not help. All in one systems are meant to provide just enough sound and volume to enjoy a movie on a tv. You are going to have to find a more powerful receiver and send the Blu-ray signal through that and then out to some better speakers to really make a difference. A powered Sub is a must also. look for some used equip if your budget is limited.

There's several 10" powered subs for under $100 at on line stores that would do wonders. Or look in local want ads and you may be able to pick something up for cheaper. Most subs will have line level input as well as RCA so it would work with a HT in a Box set up!
