For the car, I feel sealed is the only way to go. What size driver and what is the goal? LOW and clean or LOUD? Loud is ported or bandpass. Tight and clean bass will want a sealed box.

ya, goal is tight clean bass. i have a 12inch driver with massive specs, 250oz magnet, lots of excursion, 2000watts rms or so it says
