What the process for hooking up "lifeline" cable? I've got the DBS tuner on channel 3 on the TV. Does the lifeline cable just plug in to where the over the air antennae goes?

We need to know what model receiver you have. Some receivers have to be turned off to get the OTA or cable to come through while others can be tuned to channel 3 or 4. Others like the 6000 with the OTA module integrate the cable or OTA reception into the guide. In most cases you do use the Coax in for cable.

Yeah, dug thru the manual for my receiver (RCA) and found that antennae or cable line goes into the back of the receiver, and it's toggled between DSS and calbe via a remote button. thanks all.
