LG announces premium S95QR immersive soundbar (1 Viewer)

LG will introduce a new lineup of audio products at CES in January including the S95QR soundbar setup which boasts an output of 810W and 9.1.5 channels of audio. The IMAX Enhanced soundbar (plus sub and rear speakers) supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback and includes five up-firing channels, one of which is a claimed “world’s first” center up-firing speaker.
The larger woofers in the unit promise to deliver premium audio quality bass emulating an “immersive sound system of a cinema”. LG has also upgraded the wireless rear speakers of its former premium soundbar setup from four channels to six, with four front/side drivers to accompany the two up-firing drivers.
