Would the onkyo make a BIg difference in this setup, or should i spend the money on cables and stuff. I have a 12x12x9 room so not muhc power needed any suggestions wanted and other receiver opinions are welcomed also..THanks in advance.

Circuit City has the Kenwood VR507 for $250 this week. If you have a CC in your area you may be able to pick up a VR509 for $300.

2 other choices in your price range:

Pioneer VSX-D810S

JVC RX-9010VBK

Both can be had for a bit over 300 bones shipped at etronics.com.

I just purchased the JVC model myself after seeing the reviews at audioreview.com. Couldn't pass up the option of multi-room audio and USB input for MP3 playback.

Both recievers are recieving high marks and offer more than the Kenwood model.(IMHO)

Let us know.
