Hey guys, I'm upgrading from an active 50W 8" Sony sub that came with a Sony package setup.

Just wondering what everyone's take is on getting a JBL Northridge E 250P Sub or a pair of Dayton Tiny Mighty's (If this is feasable)?

Anyone heard both of these setups?

How does one Dayton Tiny Mighty compare to the JBL?

Thanks for any/all info!!!

I have the JBL and it is very impressive for movies - even compared to some $2,000 subs I work with (REL, Def Tech)

It is also OK with music, but will easily 'overpower' your speakers, so keep the X-over low and gain at a reasonable position.

I wouldn't say this sub is 'boomy', but it is also not a REL (very tight and polite)
