Is the Xbox a Progressive Scan DVD Player? (1 Viewer)

In setup it asks if my tv can do the 480p, 720p and 1080i. I also have the component output attachment. Do I have a progressive scan dvd player in the xbox?

No the Xbox DVD player isnt progressive scan, but the Xbox games are. All Xbox games run in 480p. There is a 1080i Xbox game announced, you can see it here
