Is Panasonic coming up with a CT34WX50 replacement? (1 Viewer)

This 34" 16:9 direct view HDTV seems to be one of the best around. It is remarkable that it is a two year old model. I have not been able to find any information regarding a new model. Any news?

I was in Good Guys today looking at the 34wx50 and the salesman said a new model is coming in a month with a built-in HDTV tuner similar to Sony's new HDTV. He said the price will be $3999.

I hope he is right, though you never can tell with salespeople... I ended up buying the Toshiba 34hf81 and I'm very happy with it.
